Community Heritage
and
Archaeological Projects
With years of experience in delivering community projects, EASL are well-placed to advise you on your project – from conception to final report and all the stages in between.
We have a team of qualified teachers and archaeologists who can steer you through the process – right from developing your idea to planning and applying for funding, delivering educational sessions in your local community venues, working with local schools and community members to make your project an unforgettable experience for all involved.
We can deliver training in basic archaeological and heritage skills such as field walking, geophysics, simple trench work, planning and recording and photography – all vital elements on a dig site.
Working in conjunction with our academic partners, we have a number of locations where training can take place as well as being able to deliver much of the training in your community.
Consider the benefits in your community with help and partnership from EASL in the following areas:
Sourcing Funding
Project Planning around your idea
Working in the community prior to the dig to raise awareness and understanding |
|
Helping community members of all ages to discover and work with their heritage
Provide a documentary record of your experience
Organising ‘Heritage Access Days’ in your community venue
Provide a final report of the project
If you would like to discuss any of the ideas above, or you have an idea you would like to explore please get in touch |
