Excavation
Any excavation is potentially destructive and is therefore only undertaken where absolutely necessary. Where it is not possible to leave archaeology in situ, finds and features are recorded.
When excavating, our aim is to deliver within agreed timescales and ensure information and communication is of the highest possible calibre.
All existing features, structures, artefacts, ecofacts and any other archaeology will be recorded to the highest standards. Excavation is always the last resort and is not issued lightly.
